Originated by Jim Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by
Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) but registered in 2014 by Karen Schwarz on his behalf, this upright growing cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. This large size (23 inches high
by 39 inches wide) hosta has golden yellow colored
foliage. Its leaves are broadly ovate, slightly
corrugated, slightly wavy and dull on top. Tubular shape
flowers bloom from June into July. According to the registration materials: "...large, bright yellow, prominently veined heart shaped
leaves, large seed pods...starts out greenish yellow..."
