This semi-upright
growing, non-registered cultivar which is a form of
H. montana
is from Japan. A large size plant, it
grows to around 20 inches in height. It has blue-green
foliage that changes to dark green as the season
progresses. The leaves are moderately wavy, cupped and
have a long petiole. They have thick substance and are
whitish on the bottom side. Lavender flowers bloom from
July into August.
