this large size (21 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Neptune' ×
H. 'Astral Bliss'. It has powder blue foliage
that is slightly cupped and heavily wavy at the leaf
margins. The broadly ovate leaves are moderately rippled
and has serrations at the edges. Bell-shaped, medium
lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 34 inches tall followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "This hosta has it
all! Unique "chill" color of powder blue on broadly
ovate leaves with small ruffles & serrations around the
rim. The leaves lay generally flat with the edges
slightly rolled up for best presentation."
