This appears to be another of those name problems in hostas. We suspect that the label should read H. 'Chibai' which means that it is actually the species H. tibae.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...the species H. tibae was listed as H. chibai, a name that persists in some collections."
