This non-registered cultivar is part of the "American Indian Series" of hostas from Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It forms a large size, H. montana -like, semi-upright mound with slightly wavy leaves.

The Cheyenne tribe was originally located in what is now Minnesota.
