This cultivar has lanceolate shaped leaves and is a tetraploid sport of H. 'Cherry Berry'. The clump grows into a miniature size hosta about 4 inches in height with a spread of 12 inches. It has red petioles and flower scapes with deep purple flowers that bloom in July. The plant was registered by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 2008.
