This is one of
many
plants that
Mark Zilis (2009) mentions because the author
observed it once many years ago in a garden but now says that it "...probably no longer exists."
We cannot find other
references to this cultivar and wonder if the plant may
have been mislabeled and was actually a hosta called 'Charlotte'.
This cultivar from
Ursula Syre-Herz of South Carolina was named for her friend, Charlotte
Holman who was a daylily hybridizer.
