Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts registered this hybrid of H. 'Janet' × a sibling of H. 'William Lachman' in 1983. It forms a small size plant with gold foliage that changes to a lighter color as the season progresses. From mid-August into September, it bears pale lavender flowers.
