A seedling of H. 'Fortunei Gigantea', this cultivar was registered by
Eunice V. Fisher of Wisconsin in
1971. It grows into a
large size hosta with a height of around 23 inches and a clump
spread of 56 inches. The leaves have a deeply lobed base and
come to a point at the tip. Pale lavender flowers begin to bloom
in late June. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...mainly of historical interest, being one of the first
registered cultivars by
The American
Hosta Society. Eunice Fisher (1973) stated that it
was her first attractive seedling..."
