This cultivar is a hybrid of (H. 'Swoosh' seedling x H. 'John Wargo') x
H. yingeri that
was registered by
Don Dean of Minnesota in 2005. It has shiny leaves and
grows into a large size hosta with a height of around 21 inches with a spread of 38
inches. The lavender flowers are produced later in the season
starting in August.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...shows a close affinity to its pollen parent, H.
yingeri, though it becomes a much larger plant."
