The result of a cross of an unknown plant x H. 'Blue Dimples', this cultivar was registered by Frank Nyikos of Walnut Grove Nursery in Indiana in 1999. The plant grows into a medium size hosta about 16 inches tall by 36 inches wide. It has rich blue-green foliage and bears pale lavender flowers in June.

An article in The Hosta Journal, Vol. 40 No. 1 -  2009, says that this cultivar was named for Frank's sister.
