This sport of H. 'Captain Kirk' was registered by
Gerardus Heemskerk of
Heemskerk Vaste Planten in the
Netherlands in 2009. The upright mound grows
into a medium size hosta about 15 inches in height with a spread of around 24 inches.
Its leaves are multiple shades of green to greenish yellow with
a creamy white marginal variegation. They are
broadly ovate, slightly corrugated and dull on top but have a glaucous
bloom on the bottom. The flowers are pale lavender,
tubular and bloom from July into August. It does not
set viable seeds.
