This is the result of a cross of H. 'Sea Prize' × H. 'Maekawa' that was registered by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2000.
It is an upright growing, large size hosta which
reaches 19 inches in height and 33 inches in width. The leaves are
bright gold with yellow streaks at the beginning of the season
and they turn more gold with yellow marginal variegation. Its
foliage is slightly cupped with moderate corrugation. Pale
lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
