This slow growing, non-registered
cultivar of unidentified parentage (H.
'Sieboldiana'
like) was originated by
Don Dean of Minnesota in Minnesota. The
medium size hosta is about 11 inches in height with
bright gold colored foliage. Its leaves are cupped and
have thick substance. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...an incredibly slow grower, so slow that it probably
will not be introduced."
