Dana Zubrik
and
Milan Zubrik of Záhradníctvo Hosta in the Slovak Republic registered this upright growing hosta of unidentified parentage in
2022. It
is a medium size hosta about 16 inches high by 16 inches
in width with slightly blue-green foliage. The
lanceolate leaves are slightly twisted and moderately
wavy with red speckled petioles. Pale lavender flowers
bloom from August into September on scapes about 20
inches tall but it does not set seed.
The registration
materials state: "Narrow, wavy & twisted leaves end
in a sharp tip. Petioles have red speckles and leaves
have white backs. Forms an upright, dense clump with
compact, light lavender blooms late in the summer...turns
medium green later in the spring..." |
