Introduced by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan in 1999, this cultivar was registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a medium size (17 inches high by 45 inches wide) plant which "...can be thought of as a yellow-edged 'Decorata'..." according to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009). The foliage is slightly wavy and moderately corrugated with thin substance. It has medium purple flowers from mid-July into August.
