Hosta 'Bruce'
 

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by David Stone of Connecticut and registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on his behalf in 2002. It is a small size hosta about 7 inches high by 13 inches wide with medium green colored leaves. Lavender purple flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...named for Bruce Banyai, son of Pauline Banyai who helped Peter Ruh name many in this series."
