this medium size (17 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue
Umbrellas' ×
H. 'Satisfaction'. It is a medium green hostas
with broadly ovate leaves that are slightly folded,
wavy, shiny on top, slightly corrugated and have
prominent veins. The petioles are dark green with
lighter green down the center. Near white flowers with
light lavender stripes and translucent margins bloom in
July on scapes about 28 inches tall. It sets seed but
their viability was unknown at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "...Shiny, emerald
green leaves are deeply veined with occasional areas of
corrugation that increase throughout the season." |
