This cultivar from
Ran Lydell of
Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York is an open-pollinated seedling
of the species,
H. tibae
which was registered by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar)
on Ran's behalf in 2009. It grows
into a medium size (12 inches high by 36 inches wide)
hosta with blue-green foliage. Its leaves are slightly
rippled, ovate and dull on top. Pale lavender flowers
bloom in July and it sets viable seeds. The foliage
becomes greener as the season progresses.
