Originated by
Dave Bowe
of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021 as a
seedling of H. 'One Man's Treasure' ×
H. 'Little Wiggler'. It is a medium size (9
inches high by 22 inches wide) hosta with
dark green foliage. The lanceolate leaves are slightly
wavy and slightly twisted. Its petioles have reddish
purple speckles. It bears pale purple, bell shaped
flowers from August into September and sets seeds but
their viability was unknown at the time of registration.
According to the Registration materials:
"Long reddish scapes which emerge in multiple directions
resembling red sticks of bottle rocket fireworks." |
