This H. montana
type cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2005 on
behalf of the originator,
William Borsch and Sons Nursery in
Multnomah, Oregon who originated it in the 1930's. It forms a
fast growing, large size (19 inches high by 28 inches wide), upright mound of green foliage.
The leaves are slightly rippled, folded, wavy and slightly shiny on top. Pale
lavender, tubular flowers with white stripes bloom from July
into August.
