This cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of a streaked
F1 seedling of H. 'Lakeside
Roy El' which was registered by
Danny Van Eechaute of
Belgium in
2008. It is large size plant (24 inches high by about
40 inches wide) which has dark green foliage with a
creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves are
broadly ovate, slightly shiny on top and moderately
flat. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from June
into July.
The
registration materials state: "...large variegated
hosta, stitched effect with wrinkles near the veins on
mature leaves."
