this cultivar is an upright growing seedling of
H.
hypoleuca ×
H. 'Blue Wedgwood'. It is a medium to large size hosta about 18 inches high by 36 inches wide with
blue-green foliage. The leaves are slightly corrugated,
moderately cupped and broadly ovate in shape. 'Bora
Bora' has a "slightly rhizomatous habit". Medium
lavender flowers with interior centers of varying widths
bloom in August. It does not set seed. The
registration materials state: "Cupped blue
horizontally held leaves with white backs. Short scapes
present the flowers below the leaves." |
