This cultivar is a
seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' which was registered by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2002. A large size hosta, this plant has
light green foliage with creamy white, chartreuse and
light green medial (center) variegation. The leaves are
broadly oblong to ovate, slightly corrugated and have
thick substance. Lavender flowers bloom from late June
into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...stabilizes to an attractively rippled, yellow-edged
(green centered) form over time."
