This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' which was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2004. It is a large size hosta with dark green foliage that has yellow streaked variegation. The leaves are oblong to ovate, moderately corrugated and slightly cupped. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...varies from heavily mottled and streaked green and yellow to green centered with a gold margin."
