2022,
this cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Kiowa'.
It is a small size hosta around 9 inches high by 28
inches wide with vivid blue-green foliage that has a
golden yellow to creamy white marginal variegation. The
nearly round leaves are slightly folded, heavily
corrugated and slightly wavy. Pale lavender flowers
bloom on scapes up to 16 inches tall from June into July
but it does not set seed. The
registration materials state: "This is just plain
ole pretty. The color contrast is quite unique and begs
to be seen in person...margins go from golden yellow to
creamy white later...Name changed from H. 'My
GOAT' to H. 'Blueberries and Cream' in 2022.
All plant details remain the same as originally
registered." |
