This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Tokudama
Aureonebulosa' which was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010. It is a large size plant about 19 inches high by
42 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage that
changes to medium green later in the summer. The leaves
are lightly wavy, slightly corrugated and broadly ovate.
Near white, tubular flowers bloom from June into July.
Reportedly
named for a species of shark.
