Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan and registered on their behalf by Rod Kuenster and The American Hosta Society in 2010, this slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a miniature size hosta about 3.5 inches high by 14 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly cupped and have very short petioles.

The registration materials state: "...small blue with heavy substance, ovate leaves with pointed tip."
