This cultivar is a
self-pollinated seedling of a
tetraploid H. 'Tokudama' that was registered by
Eldren
Minks of Minnesota in 1980. The mound grows into a large size hosta about 19 to 32 inches
tall with a spread of 40 to 67 inches. Its blue-green leaves
have thick substance and heavy corrugation. The pale lavender
flowers in dense clusters bloom in July.
