This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Hugo Philips of Belgium, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. pulchella in its background. It is a small size hosta with blue-green foliage and red petioles.

There is also a cultivar named H. 'Blue Bayou'
