This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Regal Rhubarb' was registered by Steve and Sarah Zolock of Pennsylvania in 2002. It is a medium size plant 12-15 inches high which has medium to dark green leaves. The foliage is heavily rippled at the margins. Purple flowers bloom on deep red scapes from late July into August.
