this medium size (16 inches high by 38 inches wide),
rhizomatouis cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Blue
Umberllas'. Its leaves are blue-green, slightly rippled,
slightly cupped, nearly round, slightly shiny on top and
have widely spaced veins. Medium lavender flowers bloom
from late June into July on scapes 24 to 30 inches tall.
It sets seeds but their viability was not known at the
time of registration. The
registration materials state: "...Medium sized
mound of blue-green nearly round leaves. Glaucous bloom
gives a velvety appearance...(flowers) lavender
stripe narrowly surrounded by white, alternate petals
have translucent margins."
