this small to medium size (12 inches high by 18 inches
wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Shen Qi Shi
Jie' ×
H. 'Tan Xian'. It has medium green foliage with a
golden yellow marginal variegation. The lanceolate
leaves are slightly twisted, wavy, very shiny on top and
have short green petioles. Medium lavender, fragrant
flowers bloom in July on scapes 17 to 19 inches tall
followed by viable seeds in black pods. The
registration materials state: "...Can reproduce
from seed and has consistently stable golden
margins...colors deepen after autumn." |
