2022,
this cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Heideturm'.
It is a medium size hosta about 17 inches high by 40
inches wide with green foliage. The slightly shiny
leaves are slightly cupped, moderately corrugated,
slightly twisted and deeply folded overall. From late
June into July, pale lavender flowers bloom on very tall
scapes up to 72 inches in height. Viability of seeds was
not known at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "Extremely tall
scapes (~70”) inherited from its pod parent."
The
name translates referring to a tower in the town
of Beelitz, Germany. |
