Originated by
Dave Bowe
of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a hybrid of H. montana macrophylla × H.
'Jewel of the Nile'. It is a medium to large size (19
inches high by 29 inches wide) hosta with
light green foliage that has medium green marginal
variegation. During the summer, the center light green
changes to a cream color. The broadly ovate leaves are
moderately wavy. It bears pale lavender, tubular flowers
from June into July and sets seeds but their viability
was unknown at the time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Tightly veined, center
variegated green foliage with interesting lutescent
center. Winner of Hosta Seed Growers national
competition in Iowa 2014."
