Registered by Ed Schulz of Iowa in,
2002 this
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size
hosta about 22 inches high by 46 inches wide with deep
blue-green foliage. The leaves are heavily corrugated
and very unruly. Near white flowers bloom from late June
into Jully on scapes up to 30 inches tall followed by
many seed pods.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "I thought I had seen all of the possibilities in heavily
corrugated blues...Wow! The foliage color was still a
bright blue, even in the middle of July in Iowa. Add to
that intense corrugation and unruliness and, well, the
name says it all."
