As Star Trek fans might expect, this cultivar is a sport of H. 'Captain Kirk' which was registered by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2012. It is a large size plant (21 inches high by 40 inches wide) with dark green foliage that has streaked variegation of cream and white. The leaves are lightly cupped, slightly corrugated and broadly ovate. Pale lavender flowers bloom from July into August.
