Couture of Maine, this non-registered cultivar is
of unidentified parentage. It is a small size hosta with
dark green foliage and prominent creamy yellow veins. On
some plants there are horizontal streaks of the
yellowish color across the veins. The leave are held in
an upright form with wide petioles. In the spring, the
bullets are violet in color before the leaves expand.
Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the
whole cloth.
