Hosta 'Barbara Ann'

A sport of H. 'Elegans', this non-registered cultivar was originated by Munton's Microplants in England. This plant forms a giant size (30 inches high by 50 inches wide) mound similar to other H. 'Sieboldiana'-type hostas. It produces funnel shaped, near white flowers in dense clusters from mid-June into July.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to establish but leave plenty of space around it...Leaves more rounded than those of H. 'Northern Halo'."
