this fast growing cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Eternal Flame'. This medium size hosta is about 15 inches high by 25 inches wide with
very dark green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are
slightly cupped, very slightly corrugated and slightly
shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with slightly darker
stripes bloom in July on scapes up to 34 inches tall.
Viability of the seeds was unknown at the time of
registration.
The registration materials state: "Symmetrical
clump of extremely dark green heart-shaped leaves with
heavy glaucous bloom on undersides. Makes an
eye-catching dark spot in the garden."
