this cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Sugar Snap'. It is a large size hosta (22 inches high by 48 inches wide) with medium
green foliage that has a white marginal
variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled at the
margins, nearly round, slightly shiny on top, heavily cupped and heavily
corrugated. Fragrant, white flowers bloom from July into
August on scapes 30 to 32 inches tall followed by viable
seeds.
The registration materials state: "...Leaves are
rounded, cupped and corrugated, with thin white margins
and fragrant white flowers." |
