This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sea Fire' which was originated by Stan Tylinski and registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 2003. It is a medium size plant about 11 inches high by 21 inches wide with medium green foliage that has a white marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, flat and very shiny on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers with stripes bloom from mid-July into August.
