this medium size (14 inches tall by 30 inches wide),
upright growing cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Convexity'.
The ovate shaped, golden-yellow foliage is slightly
rippled and turns under slightly at the edges giving a
"pillow" appearance. In June, near white flowers with
very pale lavender stripes bloom on scapes up to 26
inches tall followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Graceful gold
leaves with slightly turned-under edges...turns greenish
yellow in summer." |
