Originated by Jan van den Top of the Netherlands, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'June Fever'. It is a medium size hosta about 12 inches high by 30 inches wide with muted green leaves that have a bright yellow marginal variegation. The margins fade to white as the season progress and the leaf centers become light too. It has thick texture and is noted as slug-resistant. 'Apple Candy' has pale lavender flowers from late July into August.
