This cultivar is a sport of H. rectifolia. It is a large size plant about 19 inches high by 32 inches wide with shiny, medium green colored foliage with a gold medial (center) variegation. The leaves are moderately corrugated, wavy and have good substance. Medium purple flowers bloom from late July into August.
