 This cultivar was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2003 as a sport of H. 'Abby'. It has green leaves
which are chartreuse in the center and darker green along the
margins. The clump grows to a height of 13 inches and a spread
of 35 inches. Medium lavender flowers bloom in July. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Like all seedlings and sports related to 'Gold Drop', it
becomes a dense mound of foliage that can be utilized as a low
ground cover or edging plant."
