This sport of H. 'Aoki' was
introduced by Van
Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It is not registered. The mound grows into a large
size hosta about 21 inches
high and around 37 inches wide. Pale lavender flowers start to
appear in late July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...closely resembles 'Okaydokey' (another gold-centered sport of 'Aoki') and 'Gold Standard' with
the exception of having much wider green margins."
