This cultivar is the result of a cross of H. venusta x an H. venusta unnamed seedling which was registered by Robert Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 1982. It forms a medium size plant about 12 inches in height with a spread of around 35 inches. The ovate shaped leaves are medium green in color. In late July, bright purple flowers bloom.
