This H. 'Fortunei'-type hosta is a non-registered cultivar originated by Franc Freeman of Iowa. It is a medium size (15 inches high by 51 inches wide) plant with bright gold colored foliage that is ovate and slightly corrugated. Lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...closely resembles 'Richland Gold' and is probably another sport of 'Gold Standard'."
