This cultivar was registered by
Natalee Suggs of Alabama
in 1988 as a "possible" hybrid of H. 'August Moon' × H. 'Sun Glow'. It forms a dense,
small size mound about a foot tall with
slightly wavy leaves. The pale purple flowers are borne in July.
Don't
know if this is relevant, but a lady named Ada Reed was the
namesake of the town of Ada, Oklahoma.
